Having moved from Delphi 6 to Delphi 2007 Win32, I found out that
Quickreport is vanished and my reports need to be redevelopped alltogether..
unless I buy Quickreport version 5 .
Still a free Quickreport version exists and someone told it should work with
Delphi 2007.
Anyone having news on this subject ?
Any advice on a substitute ?

Have you checked the CD/DVD? I think it is still avaliable on your disk or
you can download it here after registration:
http://cc.embarcadero.com/item/25002
but you have to install it seperately by hand.

I went back to my 2 Dvd but found no trace of QuickReport. I found
RaveReport and ReportBuilder, none of which I know.
Then I downloaded the package from the URL you gave me, and installed it,
but I can't see a way to use it. It is not in the Delphi 2007 for Win32 IDE
and I can't see any exe to start it.
Do you know something that may help me ?

Sorry, now i can't help you any longer because i still use D7 and so i
don't know how to activate QR in D2007. In D7 there is an entry called
'components' in the main menu with calls to subtools for adding and
deleting components and packages. Something should exist in D2007 too, i
think. If you can find a way to add the QR library (in D7 this are *.bpl
files) you should be able to find the QR items in the IDE. For compiling
and linking maybe you have to add the path to the QR components somewhere
in the library path specifications, but i don't know where to find in D2007
(in D7 there is 'tool' in the main menu and then 'environment options',
where in the tabsheet with title 'library' i can set all library paths).

bye and good luck,
Helmut

Thanks for your answer. In D2007 is very similar to D7. I added the .bpl
files to the components list and everything seems ok. Thank you!
